I'm a Scot who tries to write. I have my own style, and I will not compromise it for the lowest common denominator on Lit.

I sometimes use Scots words, sometimes bits of phonetic dialect. I hope all is clear from the context. And mostly I write in my own form of semi-embedded dialogue, rather in the French style. If it's good enough for literary giants like Cormac McCarthy, it's good enough for me.
