- Toad are one of the most well known tarpon pattern. Specially in the Florida Keys. Toad comes in Many vaieties but classic toad with a marabou tail is hard to beat.
Materials
Hook - Gamakatsu SL12s
Thread - Danville 140
Tail - extra select marabou
Collar - Cross cut rabbit strip, saddle hackle
Body - Fishhair
Eyes - mono eyes
Resin - Deer Creek Sculpt

I’ve always picked that up when watching ppl tie. They will say a certain number of wraps and go way above that. 😂😂😂
