I am
The shred of silence that eternally grows
The fear that keeps you on your toes
The master of all your delusion roles
The eye that watches while you steal souls

I am
The craving behind your sad addiction
The pain caused by your own affliction
The words that loop in contradiction
The misunderstood lonely magician

I am
The smile that's faded from your face
The stranger that strides in an eloquent grace
A clutter of trees in an open space
The fruit that is forbidden to taste

I am
The face you try to forget but will always remember
The chill up your spine in the month of November
The second of suffering before the surrender
The memory of a kiss upon your lips so tender

I am
The hand that holds you back
The wolf that strays from the pack
The example of everything you lack
The fire scorching through a blanket of black

I am
The ache inside your precious heart
The interpretation that sets us apart
The finishing piece of a never ending start
The sea that falls off the end of the chart

I am
The child that hides behind an open door
The shadow that follows across your floor
The words that could mean something more
The cavern that contains confusion at the core
