In the tapestry of my life, threads of green and brown intertwine,
A verdant glade, a tawny town, in their gaze, I find a sign.
"Four eyes," they jeered, in days less kind,
But now, four eyes, in love, aligned.

Green, like the first breath of spring, a promise in each glance,
Brown, like the earth's nurturing, a depth in every dance.
Together, they're a sonnet, without the need for rhyme,
A free verse of affection, transcending space and time.

Their laughter, a melody, a symphony so sweet,
A cascade of joy, where heartbeats and harmonies meet.
Green eyes shimmer with mirth, a playful, sprightly tune,
Brown eyes echo the earth's laugh, a warm refrain of June.

In this chorus of chuckles, where giggles freely roam,
I find a sanctuary, a sonorous, sacred home.
Their laughter, a lighthouse, guiding through life's unknown,
In the echo of their joy, I forever find my own.

In youth, "four eyes" cut through the air, a label meant to wound,
But now, it's a chorus of care, in their orbit, I'm cocooned.
Two pairs of eyes, a quartet's sight,
In their reflection, I find my light.

Gratitude swells like a river, for the love of emerald and umber,
For in their love, I am the receiver, of a wonder without number.
No longer a slander, but my soul's delight,
For four eyes of love make my world bright.
