Author's notes: this story has come about from a couple of Rule 34 pics I've found for The Legend of Zelda while at the same time I was coming out of the closet recently in being bisexual. This is also born out of my recurring theme that there are two sides to every story and sometimes the Hero is the Villain, and the Villains are the actual Heroes.
This story doesn't really follow or change any one story already established by the many titles within the franchise since I've taken elements from a lot of the different games... mainly Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past. Instead, this is my own take on a Hyrule that could've been. So please, for the love of all geekdom, please do not smack me around with lore continuity.
Trigger warnings: I really hate doing this but because LE puts all the tags at the end for some odd reason and I've had people complain about my stories before, if you have a problem with any of the following, then please close this story and go find something else. This story contains elements of Dubious Consent, Cuckold/Cuckquean/Netorare, BDSM, Femboy, Impregnation, Gay and Lesbian, Harem, Slaves, Slavery, Arranged Marriage, maledom, femdom, and Bad Ending for Favorite Characters. You have been warned.
All characters depicted in adult situations are over 18 years of age.

CHAPTER 1:
Ganondorf Dragmire, or simply Ganon to others, sat on the throne of Hyrule regarding the small, greyish instrument in his hand. To think that this little thing had caused him so many problems until he was able to take it from his adversary's stunned, unconscious form and use it himself to set things right... to set things to the way they were supposed to be... before he was utterly destroyed. The transition of power went much more smoothly this time around. As before, Agahnim took over from King Roham Hyrule in his failing state of health and then when the kingdom started to suffer under Agahnim's rule. That was when Agahnim and Roham both called for Ganon stepped in to assist and eventually take the reins. Agahnim was a great wizard and an excellent advisor, but certainly lacked the tact and the cunning to actually rule himself and Roham eventually passed.
This time, however, when Ganon took over, coming back in time and taking the place of his younger, more naive self of events that had not happened yet, he did so, now holding a few more items than last time to legitimize his reign with the people as he went around the kingdom to the ancient sites of power to secure the relics before the people responsible for his downfall got them. "Bring in the traitors," he ordered his guards at the end of the throne room all the while tumbling the instrument in his fingers. The two Hylian Knights closest to the doors snapped to attention, saluted, and immediately departed for the dungeons. Ganon looked over at the nearby majordomo. "Send for the clothing and jewelry I requested and have them placed in the changing rooms I told you about."
"At once, sire," the majordomo bowed as he stepped back to remove himself from the room. It was another sign that things went more peacefully this time around, having the castle's staff and guard contingent recognize his rightful rule rather than feed off of the lies and propaganda that was spewed out by the traitors everywhere they went.
Moments later, the two traitors responsible for his original fate and his fall into darkness were brought in, bound at their ankles and wrists in manacles and chains, and by their necks in collars that had chains running to the knights behind them bringing them in. Both of them looked every bit as he'd originally remembered them; Princess Zelda, daughter of the late king, in her flowing white and pink robes and Link, the supposed 'Hero of Legend', in his forest leathers and green tunic. Their ice blue eyes glared at him as they were marched forward at spearpoint. If one didn't know any better, one could easily mistake them as siblings, as they sported similar height to each other and long blonde hair, instead of the lovers that they were. As they got closer, Ganon could pick out a glowing triangular symbol glowing on their left hands. It was the same symbol that he could now feel glowing on his left hand under his black leather glove; the symbol of the Triforce; the ultimate power in the land that each of them held a piece of. His was red, Zelda's was yellow, and Link's was green.
With one last flip, Ganon tossed the instrument and caught it in his hand. He smiled as Zelda and Link were brought before him. "Finally, the two most wanted criminals of the realm have been brought before me."
"We are not the traitors, Ganon," Zelda was the first to lunge at him, only to be yanked back by her leash. "You are the one who usurped my father's throne after you killed him!"
"The people will not stand for this!" Link also challenged him but was wise enough not to do a headlong charge at him like his girlfriend did. That was what made him a dangerous foe; he was as intelligent as Ganon was, if not more so, and was definitely of the calculating sort. Had Ganon not escaped their fight that would never take place now, Ganon had serious doubts of his own survival.
But Ganon refused to rise to the bait this time. That was the one thing that allowed chaos and darkness to enter him, feed off of the Triforce of Power that he held in his heart, consume him, and turn him into an evil, vile monster. Even now he could hear the seduction of the Triforce calling to him to reach out and take the other pieces, but he knew that to give into those whispers of unlimited power would send him down the same road to ruin. No, he was the master of his destiny and he would do things right by having the Triforce of Wisdom that Zelda held, and the Triforce of Courage that Link held, given to him willingly so that the three pieces would then be in balance and keep him the way he was; the charismatic, peace loving leader of the joint Hylian and Gerudo kingdom. The realm would thrive under his leadership if he kept his emotions in check until he had all three pieces of the Triforce within him.
He smiled broadly at them. "Your father and his advisor both invited me here, Princess," he said matter-of-factly. "Your father was a great man whose death is mourned by many across the realm. I think that you do him a disservice by spitting on his last wish that his kingdom and their people be taken care of." Ganon then turned serious. "I have been placed as the legitimate steward of this land whereas you two, simply put, are criminals and traitors."
"We are simply trying to depose the man who murdered the king and put Princess Zelda on the throne who is the rightful heir!" Link shouted, now straining against his bonds to get free. Ganon couldn't help but smirk at the lad's bravado. Take away all of his toys and weapons and he's just all talk. "Who are you to call us traitors to the crown?"
"Let me see here," Ganon said thoughtfully, ticking off the points on his fingers. "I was invited here, I was appointed to this position, the staff all have recognized my claim on the throne, the people recognize me as their king," he explained. "Whereas you two hooligans have torn this land apart in your incessant search for relics to depose me without cause, rampant murder of my soldiers, wanton destruction of countless pots and crops all while searching for rupees to fund your insurrection and terrorizing numerous chicken herds like it is some kind of sick game to you. I heard that you were run out of Kakariko Village by a whole flock of them after you hit one chicken one too many times. Do you deny any of these crimes, 'Hero'?"
"I had to do what I had to in order to survive!" Link said, weakly defending himself. "If' I'd found the Master Sword..."
"Ah, yes, that," Ganon stood and pulled the Master Sword out from the scabbard on his back, much to Link and Zelda's shock.
"That's impossible!" Link recoiled in horror. "You can't!"
"You are NOT the legendary hero of prophecy!" Zelda gasped with equal amounts of surprise and fear. "There is no way that you can draw it from the stone in the woods let alone wield it!"
"Funny thing about prophecies," Ganon pointed out. "Is that they're vague enough that nearly anyone can fulfill them. Turns out that any one of us could've taken possession of the Master Sword as we each possess a piece of the Triforce," he explained as he sheathed the sword, pocketed the instrument, and then took off his glove to reveal the back of his left hand to them.
"How?" Link breathed, scarcely believing what he was seeing. "How did you get the Triforce of Power AND the Master Sword before us? We..." he looked to Zelda and back again. "We'd been searching for months and haven't come across them!"
"Ah yes, well you see I have you to thank for that, Link," Ganon said, pulling out the instrument. "This little thing aided in your quest to unseat me. Recognize it from lore as well? It's the Ocarina of Time. YOU," he pointed at Link with his free hand, "were always one step ahead of me because of this little thing right here." He smiled as he saw their eyes grow big with awe and wonder as they thought about what could have been for them now had Ganon not possessed this artifact. "Yes..." he said triumphantly. "I can see it in those beautiful Hylian eyes of yours. You want this. You need this. You want to play it so that at least one of you can go back in time, again, and stop me like your counterparts did before. Well," he dropped it to the floor and in a flash he brandished the Master Sword and drove it down through the Ocarina, destroying it. "That is not going to happen this time."
"NO!" Link and Zelda both shouted out at once, straining in their chains again as if they could somehow stop Ganon from taking away the one thing that they could've used against him. Zelda then hung her head and wept while Link just stood there, mouth agape, stunned. Ganon couldn't help but smirk triumphantly. Now he understood an old tome he'd once read that said that once power is secure then destroy all time travel devices. He should've done this the last time around but no matter, it was done now.
He sat back down on the throne and looked at the two Hylians. "Now, the law is clear on the matter of treason, of which I find you two both guilty of. However, I wish to usher in my rule with a gesture of mercy. I will commute both of your sentences on the one condition that you both submit yourselves to me." He held up a hand to forestall any impudent outbursts of outrage from them. "Do not make a rash decision just yet. You two will be taken to separate changing rooms on either end of the central keep here. There you will find clothes and a letter from me. Read it. Read my terms, and then make your decision." He gestured to the guards. "Take them."
*
Zelda couldn't believe her eyes and ears. Somehow, against all logic and reasoning, Ganon, the thief from the desert wastelands, somehow, somewhere, sometime, got his hands on the Ocarina of Time and used it to come back in time to the here and now before her and Link were ready to move against him. The guard, who she knew when she lived here before Ganon took over, showed no emotion or compassion as he escorted her off to one of the antechambers to her right while Link was taken by his guard in the opposite direction. She searched the guard's face and found what she interpreted as pity, remorse, and possibly hurt and betrayal as well. Had she misread the situation? Was she in the wrong to resist Ganon's rule? No, it couldn't be possible, could it?
Her manacles and chains were removed right before was shoved into one of the small antechambers that had been cleared out save for a couch and a table that had a pile of folded clothes and a small chest on it. A note lay propped against the chest. The only way in or out was the one door that the guard was standing in front of, watching her. With a shaky hand, she reached out for the note to read what Ganon had to say.
"Princess Zelda," she could practically hear Ganon's voice as she looked at the scrawled words. "Even though my rule is legitimate I wish for the people to see us united. It would do neither of us any good for me to exterminate you and morale in the kingdom would certainly plummet as they mourned the loss of their princess so soon after their king. While the law allows me to execute both you and your boyfriend, I wish to begin my rule on a merciful note. My conditions are as follows; Should you submit to me, then start by removing your clothes and putting on the ones provided to you, then Link shall be allowed to live. If you decide to spurn me in a final act of rebellion, then Link shall be executed while I make you submit to me. Should both of you decide to spurn me, then we will hold a public trial where you and your boyfriend's name will be vilified for all time just before you both are publicly hanged for treason. I trust that you will make the correct choice and choose to live. I promise you the life of luxury that you are accustomed to, you will never want for anything, you will always be cherished and maybe even loved, and you can have your boyfriend serving by your side. All I ask is that you submit to me and bear my heir. Ganondorf."
The tears stung Zelda's eyes as she crumpled the note in one first and threw it to the ground. There was the ultimatum; submit and Link will live. Rebel and Link will die. Link had to be getting a similar note to hers that said the same thing. So there were different scenarios here. She could submit and he would be defiant, in which case she'd die and Link would be forced into servitude. Or it could be the other way around. Link would die if she rebelled but at least he wouldn't suffer. The last thing that she wanted to do was both of them rebel and have their names smeared throughout all of Hyrule's history. The prophecies had to be right but maybe this was not the time they'd come to pass. She let out a long breath, her mind already made up before she'd even thought it over too much. With a hard swallow to keep her pride down, she slowly reached behind her to unbutton the back of her dress. To save her love, she would submit to Ganon.
She kept her back to the guard as she let the dress drop to the floor to pool around her feet. Then she divested herself of her undergarments and all of her jewelry, taking her princess crown off last. Zelda took a moment to look at it, thinking of a life that could've been... should've been. Then she dropped it with the rest of her clothes and picked up the small pile on the table. What Ganon wanted her to wear wasn't much; just a green silk loincloth, white silk hose, and matching green slippers. The gold jewelry was nothing more than a pair of anklets, a pair of arm wraps, and a collar. She wouldn't even be allowed a covering for her breasts or even underwear and if she was going to serve Ganon. She had no doubts now what her use would be. Zelda wiped the tears from her eyes, steeled herself, and put on her new garments, or lack thereof, symbolizing her new station in life.
For Link...
*
Link was shoved into an antechamber that was opposite the throne room from where Zelda had been taken. The room was empty save for a couch, a table, a small pile of clothes, and a small chest. A note waited for him on the clothes while behind him the guard stood watching him with his back to the door to ensure that Link did not escape. Disgusted, Link picked up the note and read. It was from Ganon.
"Brave Hero Link. I read a tome once that said that one should not wait for a callow youth to grow strong to destroy him, which is why I made sure that you were captured now just after your 18th birthday rather than wait for you to grow stronger as a man so that you can fight me. In time, you will see that what I am doing is right for the realm and that opposing me was wrong. I am a benevolent man which is why I wish to commute your death sentence that I can apply under the law. My rule will be strict, but it will be fair, and I want it to start on a note of mercy. My conditions are as follows; Should you submit to me, then start by removing your clothes and putting on the ones provided to you, then Zelda shall be allowed to live. If you decide to spurn me in a final act of rebellion, then Zelda shall be executed while I make you submit to me. Should both of you decide to spurn me, then we will hold a public trial where you and your girlfriend's name will be vilified for all time just before you both are publicly hanged for treason. I trust that you will make the correct choice and choose to live. I promise you the life of luxury that you would only dream of, you will never want for anything, you will always be cherished and maybe even loved, and you can have your girlfriend serving by your side. All I ask is that you submit to me. Ganondorf."
There really was no choice in the matter. He'd submit to Ganon just to keep Zelda alive. It was a small price to pay to protect the woman he loved. Link looked at what he'd be expected to wear. It was nothing more than a loincloth, leggings, and slippers. He recognized the clothing style as he'd worn something similar when he and Zelda were hiding with the Gerudo. It was a golden belt with green Gerudo silk as a long flowing loincloth in the front and back. The slippers matched the color of the loincloth. The leggings were made of white Hylian silk. It was essentially a slave's outfit. The jewelry in the chest confirmed it as inside there were two gold anklets, two gold arm circlets, and a gold collar with a ring on it for a chain leash to be attached to it. He swallowed hard. He'd play Ganon's game and whore himself out for this prince of darkness. Maybe, just maybe, he'd have a chance to escape with Zelda. Then he shook his head. No, he could not and would not risk her life. Not again. Never again.
He let out a long breath and stripped out of his clothes before putting on his new slave clothes. For Zelda... he thought as he mentally prepared himself for what was about to come.
*
Ganon smiled as the guards brought his two new slaves back. Per his instructions, no matter what they chose, Zelda and Link were brought back blindfolded so that they couldn't see what the other chose. The two looked like quite the fetching pair; Zelda with all of her soft curves and hourglass shape and Link looking young, soft, and effeminate as he was not yet the ripped, hardened warrior that Ganon crossed swords with in the near disastrous future. Without anything in their hair now, the only difference that Ganon could see between the two there was that Zelda's hair was longer than Link's was, but that'd change in time. It was Ganon's intention to keep Link soft and submissive to him instead of allowing him to become the powerful, muscular warrior that nearly brought him down.
"I am so glad that you decided to take me up on my offer," he said, deliberately being vague as he wanted to keep the two guessing as to what the other chose. Ganon saw both their cheeks and their chests flush with embarrassment and shame. He could read their body language and could tell that they were dying inside, wondering what the other one chose, wondering if they would be killed by a swing of the sword at any moment. It was a tactic that he'd read about in that ancient tome he found; it was easy to threaten someone with death and oftentimes people would think death before dishonor. However, you threaten their loved ones and they'd do anything for you. Link and Zelda clearly loved each other and wanted to keep the other alive, not wanting to be responsible for their demise. Ganon would use this to his advantage. "Now, I want you to totally submit to me. Get down on the floor crawl to me to show me your supplication."
