Years and years of work and toll.
One goal in mind, the end of the line.
Finally, the goal is within sight.
After waiting all this time.

I don't know if I tired.
I don't know if I am done.
All i know is being retire.
Is the hope of resting begun.

I'm throwing in the towel.
I'm hanging up my hat.
I'm headed down the road.
And I am not looking back.

Some say I'm being hasty.
Some say, I need to wait.
But everything in me hurts.
I need rest before its too late.

I am tired
Have you ever been tired, again?
I am finally retired.
I hope this has a happy end.

I am so glad to see you back. Hopefully you do get some rest in the busy-ness of retirement.

So sorry I only just found your work

Hope this is not the end

You’ve much more still to offer

More loving for to send

Just take a little to relax

And you will come back stronger

Refreshed and ready for tomorrow

And hopefully much longer
