About the title, the pun is intentional. My stories are about going inside mothers ...

The more you write, and the further we get into the story, the less sense it makes.

With a confusing masquerade of mysterious doppelgangers, every other month makes it too hard to keep the plot in mind. You'd be better off going back to the original single chapter monthly. You're never going to be able to please everybody, but the current regime seems to be losing readers rather than intriguing them.

I dont know how hard it is to understand the doppelganger part. Its a sentient AI. Half hive mind half individual. And it was created to pander to the guests. Its existence is meaningless with no one to serve. And its also horny. At the end the meticulous part is the plan to seduce Lilian. The waiter constantly plying her with alcohol. The subtle manipulation through an authority figure and using the most attractive male as a model available on the station.

I can clearly see that you are writing this as "mystery", however it's so mysterious, a reader like me is left going "huh? Wtf?" It's honestly so confusing that my brain has had enough, so sorry i'm out on this one.

That it doesn't come off as entirely malicious is somewhat comforting, though the bit with Rose still keeps me wary.

This is shaping up to be a pretty good tale
